Anne Roil

Anne has been working in the Payment Solutions industry for 20 years, with the last 8 years focusing on Mobile Payments. Anne was a lead business designer and systems integrator for the Smart Money service, first launched by Smart Communications in 2000.

Anne’s training in both branch banking and electronic payment systems comes from her long association with the ANZ Banking Group. Anne has in depth knowledge through working on projects covering - Electronic Inter-bank payments, National EFT switching, ATM and EFTPOS networks, Debit and Credit Card platforms, and Mobile Payments.

In recent years Anne has focused on the design and system integration of end to end Mobile Payment solutions, which have incorporated the issuing of a scheme card. The projects Anne has worked on span a number of different regions globally.

Peter Goldfinch

Peter’s key qualifications come from 22 years in the payments industry where he has developed extensive business and technical knowledge from the experience of delivering solutions. In more recent years a significant amount of his time has been spent on the understanding and development of mobile payment solutions. He has become one of only a few international authorities on this emerging payments delivery channel. 

Peter truly does understand payment business requirements and has taken these through system design and development to implementation. He understands the requirements of transactional messaging systems, the need for integrity in a payment service and the requirement to authenticate and secure payment data.

Ian Grainger

Ian comes from a software development and management environment, with 22 years of experience in the industry in the UK and New Zealand. Initially in a development role and later as a business analyst and client/account manager, Ian has a very strong set of skills around the documentation and management of business and system requirements that are critical to the success of a software development project. Ian has enjoyed significant involvement in the development of Mobile-based payment solutions and his role of performing business and solution requirements analysis has given him considerable experience of the payments industry.

Martyn Cooper

Martyn is recognized and accepted as a leading strategist within the North American payments and e-business community. He has advised governments, merchants and financial institutions globally, on the role of contact and contactless smart cards, and the use of card technology in payment applications generally. He has developed payment card e-business strategies for Canadian federal and provincial governments, and major financial institutions globally. Martyn has an innate strategic awareness and understanding of the role of payments and payment cards in government and industry along with a progressive background in systems and technology within the financial industry in Canada, the USA and the United Kingdom.

David Brooks

David combines a strong understanding of business requirements and market realities to scope, plan, and deliver large-scale payment networks and processing facilities. Proficient at all levels of the project lifecycle from business case production through benefits realization. David has strong leadership techniques and professional attention to detail allowing him to develop strong collaborative with all stakeholders. David led the first implementation of a cross border acquiring solution for a multinational retailer operating in Central and Eastern Europe, leveraging the Single European Payments Area (SEPA) commissioned by the European Union.
